A program for members spread across the country, run online on a schedule that suits them.

Chambers

National chambers

Including industry and community chambers with local chapters: one market for members from every chapter.

Networks

Franchise and dealer networks

Owners from different markets compete with each other instead of with their neighbors.

Companies

Multi-location companies

Managers from different locations see how their decisions play out against each other.

What changes

A market where nobody plays on home turf

Teams from different states meet in one market. The questions shift from surviving the first year to growing beyond the home market.

  • Capacity that runs ahead of demand — or behind it
  • Financing an expansion without creating a cash gap
  • Competing with players who have deeper pockets
  • Price wars you did not start

Sponsors for nationwide programs are usually national banks and SBA lenders.

Open games

Open games across the U.S.

Every state has its own open online game once a month, on local time. Teams from any state can join any game — a market where nobody plays on home turf.

Hosted online in English. Format: Growth — owners of a running business, $100 per team, 2.5 hours. You register on marketgame.club.

Programs & pricing

Same price, whoever pays

Every package can be paid by your chamber or by a sponsor — a bank, a credit union or another local company. The price stays the same.

For banks & sponsors

Put your bank in the game

Sooner or later, every team in the game needs a loan. With Market Game, the loan they take carries your name — and your representative can host the game in the room.

  • Your brand on the loan inside the game and your name on the screens
  • Your certified representative hosts games in person — personal contact with local business owners
  • "Presented by" in the chamber's invitations and on participant certificates
  • Contacts of participants who opt in
  • A report after every game
  • May qualify for CRA community development credit — your CRA officer decides

Who's behind it

Built on a game people already play

Market Game is built on Capture the Market, a team business simulation created by Nikolay Bulenkov: more than twenty years in sales, management and business development, and business simulations since 2014.

Open games already run online and offline in English, Russian and Vietnamese. Market Game brings the same game to chambers of commerce, with the formats, reports and sponsorship that a chamber program needs.

Frequently asked

The short answers

For chambers

What happens at a game?

Teams of your members run competing companies in one shared market for about two hours, then go through a debrief. You don't need to learn the rules in advance — nobody does. How the game works

What do we need to host it?

A room, a big screen or projector and Wi-Fi. Participants play on their phones or laptops. Our host joins by video; an in-person host is optional ($1,000 per game plus travel).

How many people can play?

Four to twenty teams per game. A team can be one person or several, and the ticket is per team. The fuller the room, the tighter the market.

Who pays — the chamber or a sponsor?

Either. The price is the same. If a bank or another sponsor pays, the games are free for your chamber, and you still sign a 12-game agreement: you provide the room, invite members and run registration.

Can we charge members for tickets?

Yes, and the money stays with your chamber. Suggested prices per team: $25 for Start, $100 for Growth, $3,000 for Elite. Apply your usual member discounts. A paid ticket also cuts no-shows, which matters for a game: empty seats make the market thinner.

What if too few people register?

A game needs at least four teams. If registrations run low, we agree on a new date together.

Is it available in Spanish?

Yes, as an option: $500 per game.

Why not just send our members to your open games?

You can — open games are public and priced the same per team. A chamber program is different: it runs in your room, under your brand, for your members, and the ticket and sponsorship revenue is yours.

How do we pay?

We invoice in U.S. dollars. The Annual Program is billed monthly under a 12-month agreement.

For banks & sponsors

Is the loan in the game a real offer?

No. The game uses its own loan terms; your bank gives the loan its name. Nothing on screen is a credit offer, which keeps the review with your compliance team simple.

Can our own staff host the games?

Yes. Certification costs $2,500 per person: training plus two games next to our host. After that your representative hosts in person, and our team runs the game in the background by video.

Do we get the participants' contacts?

Only of those who opt in when they register. Everyone else's details stay with the chamber.

Does it count toward CRA?

It may. When your staff provide financial education to small businesses, the activity may qualify as a community development service. The decision is your CRA officer's; we provide attendance and participant reports for your file.

What does exclusivity mean?

Your bank becomes the only lender in our games in a territory — a metro area from 3 chambers or a whole state from 10. You get the first right to sponsor every new chamber there, a dedicated manager, quarterly reviews and host certification included.
